Questions
What working together looks like.
What artists ask me before sending a first message. If yours is not here, ask on WhatsApp — I'll give you a straight answer.
What kind of music do you produce?
Arabic pop — that is the whole focus, and everything I release is in it. I work as a music producer, composer and songwriter, and I write, produce, mix and master Levantine and Arabic pop records from my own studio in Lebanon, for myself and for other artists.
Can you produce my song if I'm not in Lebanon?
Yes. Most of my projects run remotely and the process does not change — a large share of my work comes from Arab artists living in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf, and from the Lebanese diaspora. You send me a demo, and a voice note on WhatsApp is enough to start. The production, mixing and mastering happen in my studio in Lebanon, and you get the finished master as WAV and MP3, with stems if you need them. Vocals can be tracked three ways: at a studio near you and sent over, at home to a click so I can edit and tune the takes here, or in person if you travel to Lebanon. Revisions run over email or WhatsApp.
What makes producing an Arabic pop song different?
Arabic pop is not Western pop with an oud on top. The melodies often move through maqam rather than major and minor scales, which changes what harmony can sit underneath them and means the strings or synths have to be able to play quarter-tone intervals at all. Instrumentation carries meaning too — oud, qanun, ney, buzuq, riq and darbuka each signal a different region, and the choice tells a listener whether a record reads as Lebanese, Khaleeji or Egyptian. Vocals differ most of all: Arabic singing lives on ornamentation and melisma, and pitch correction applied the way it is on an English pop vocal will flatten exactly the detail that makes the performance worth hearing.
Can you mix and master a track I already recorded?
Yes — I take on mixing and mastering on their own, without the production, as long as the track is Arabic pop. Send me the session as separate stems or multitracks, ideally WAV at the sample rate you recorded at, with tuning and comping already done or flagged if you want me to handle it. Mixing comes back as a balanced, release-ready mix in WAV and MP3 with revisions included. Mastering comes back as streaming-ready masters, same formats, revisions included. If all you have is a stereo bounce rather than stems, I can still master it, but I cannot meaningfully correct a mix from it.
What should I send to get started?
Whatever you have right now. A voice note humming the melody is a completely normal starting point and plenty of finished records began exactly that way. If you have more — a phone recording with guitar or piano, lyrics as text, a reference track that captures the sound you are after, or a full multitrack session — send that instead. It helps if you tell me in the first message roughly what stage the song is at, whether you want the full production or only mixing and mastering, and any deadline you are working to. WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach me.
